Elevated serum gammaglutamyltransferase (GGT), sometimes called GGTP, is found in all forms of liver disease. It is more sensitive than alkaline phosphatase, the transaminases, and leucine aminopeptidase (LAP) in detecting obstructive jaundice, cholangitis, and cholecystitis.</p> |
