<p>Send 1.0mL plasma frozen in a screw-capped plastic vial. Indicate "plasma/blue top" on vial.</p>
<p>Separate sample should be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.</p>

Clinical Use | <p>Protein C deficiency can lead to thrombotic complications. Acquired Protein C deficiency is noted in coumadin therapy, DIC, acute thromboembolic disease, severe liver disease, hemolytic uremic syndrome and in TTP.</p> |
