Specimen Requirement | <p>Draw blood in a plain red-top. Spin, separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours. Transfer 2.0ml serum to screw-capped plastic vial; write "serum/red top" on transport tube and<strong> freeze</strong>. Contact lab for dry ice for shipment; when dry ice is received, ship to lab.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Submit with order: Dose (list drug amount and include the units), Route (IV vs oral), Dose Frequency (per day/week or as needed) and Type of draw (peak, trough, random etc).<br /></span></p>
