<p>Patient preparation: Patient should be encouraged to discontinue nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals and non-essetial over the counter medications.</p> <p>Draw blood in a <strong>dark blue EDTA </strong>tube. Send 7.0 mL whole blood <strong>(1.0 mL min</strong>) <strong>room temperature in the original collection tube.</strong></p>
